| September 2022 Hello, I messed up. I had plans, big plans. I wanted to write a Newsletter once a month. I thought I was organized, but not only did life happen, but I also wanted to write/finish my second book, ‘Say What Now?’. And then the summer break hits. I still can’t get over the length of American summer breaks. During 2 and a half months, I became a driver, entertainer, event organizer, and snack preparer. In the evenings, I just wanted to curl up and watch something. In-between these childminding activities, I tinkered with my second book and somehow managed to finish the manuscript after passing my pages through the hands of three editors. I also formatted the book myself in InDesign as I made drawings. At first, I was pleased with how everything turned out, but Amazon and Barnes and Noble told me to reformat the paperback. Lo and behold, my inexperience with InDesign showed. I tinkered with the widths and bleed, and eventually, the above storefronts accepted my submissions. Now, I am waiting for the proofs. However, this was not the only thing I did after my kids returned to school. I uploaded my Say What Now? not only for pre-order, but Smashwords has the book on pre-sale. That means you can already read it before October 4th. On October 4th, the ebook will be available for $0.99 on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Apple Books, Google Play, and of course, Smashword.
